Poem of the marriage bed
15Nov2010
With an intercourse of words
we are allowed entrance to Your bed chambers.
You woo us with songs of deliverance
and captivate our very mind body and soul.
Who is like You?
Who can take away the sins of the world?
Behold there is none like You,
and those who try to help sometimes hinder
and quench Your spirit within.
They bring words of destruction,
and know not what they destroy,
You are a warring God they say,
and yet You war to destroy
the works of the evil one.
The lies that are brought,
bring confusion as Babylon is
continuing to be built.
I have been a victim of this
and believed the enemy and was raped of him
bringing forth children of words and attitudes
likened to him.
My children were
mixed
one minute they were of truth
the next lies, then they built up
only to also to kill.
they would love and then hate.
Dry and desolate I became,
and almost to utter ruin
because I became one with a lie
my marriage bed had become defiled.
The mind, a platform or bed
had been seduced to partake
of forbidden fruit,
I would try not to eat
yet it was forced upon me.
But You Lord remained faithful
I cried out for rapture,
and You would reply with Aliyah,
come up a higher and see
that I may inspire you.
Again I was in the bed chambers of the Lord,
He impregnated me with His thoughts for me
and gave to me His righteousness,
but not before He took the harlot woman of Babylon
and bound her with the children that she had given birth to
and cast them in the fire.
I knew then that every seed reproduces
after its' own kind, to include God's.
I understood
His love for us to be
greater than our minds will think.
He destroyed the works of the enemy
that love, peace and joy remain.
a pure heart with pure thoughts
that seeks to keep the marriage bed
which is of the Lord undefiled.
Now I speak only blessing and life,
though being subjected to all kinds
of noisome pestilence, that come
like locust to eat away the fruit, and if not cast down
will eat the leaves, vine and the tender root,
making for separation from God
because it chooses to believe the enemy.
How Big You are Lord, that You remain faithful
until reconciliation is made.
How Big You are Lord, that You would love
even when we were haters of You.
Though You give everything a season
You remain the same with love
peace and gentleness,
calling the prodigal children to come home
back to a life of blessing, life and love.
Only You Lord were found worthy
to open
our seals.
Blessed are You and worthy
of honor, power and glory.
