Behold what manner of love
As I laid down to
rest today-- I am still reflecting that which He is giving me.
Most Christian, have a change in character after being born again--They love, they share, an are kind etc.
But
when a little leaven of keeping something, whether it be the law or a
certain prayer time etc, they put me themselves back in bondage--then
they become judgmental, hateful, critical, despisers of God, and as
they give way to these things the fruit of God starts disappearing and
they are no longer beholding what manner of love, that portrays the
Master because that little leaven leavened the whole lump. Even the milk
has become sour and or there is plain amnesia to the milk that they
once suckled. They call good evil and evil good trying to do instead of
receiving the perfect sacrifice. Time with the Master is not one of wait
but of through praying, not receiving His heart but giving Him what
they think His heart is, til the love of God has waxed cold. No love
flowing out
of intimacy just a formula of personal achievements. Behold what manner
of love, that He would lay down His life that we live ours through Him,
being led of Him. Changes that are made without Him dwelling are
nothing more than following a formula. Being intimate with Him changes
within and keeps that change no matter what the storm that comes. There
has been a distorted picture of the Father painted by the church and
their people, a total character assassination of the only One who can
save. We are told God is good and then when the child is in church, we
are instructed that he is watching us--He should be leading us as He is
within us, however if not all the things we do are nothing more than a
character of impersonation, of what is called God a form of godliness
but no power. No changes, in fact they impersonate human beings, because
with in they are brute beasts. This is not conducive of our loving
Master--Behold what manner of love-- He said perhaps
for a righteous man one would die and for a good man, some would die,
but he being The express IMAGE of the FATHER died for all, that His
image be impressed on the very soul of mankind. Behold what manner of
LOVE.
Blessings and grace multiplied be unto you
